Zebra Safari Lodge is located in the Karamoja sub-region, Karenga district, in northeastern Uganda, after the Kalokudu Gate of Kidepo Valley National Park. This is a mid-range lodge that offers beautiful views of the most isolated park in Uganda.
The lodge can be reached by road using a 4-wheel drive safari vehicle from Kampala. The drive takes up to 9 hours if you use the Kampala-Gulu-Kitgum-Kidepo route. Another option is by air, where visitors fly from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip to Apoka Airstrip, then transfer to the lodge.
Zebra Safari Lodge is built on a raised area in Kalokudu village, with views of the park and the nearby villages. The lodge has 5 spacious cottages with comfortable king and queen-sized beds. The cottages are designed in an African style with grass-thatched roofs. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom with both warm and cold showers, solar lighting, a bedside table, and a chair. The verandas overlook the open grasslands of Kidepo Valley, with chances to see animals like buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes.
The lodge has a restaurant where guests enjoy meals while looking at the wide landscape stretching to South Sudan. The meals are fresh, with menus made for different guests. Lunch includes a 2-course meal, and dinner is a 4-course meal, prepared to the guest’s choice. Guests can also have breakfast in the bush for a fun experience while watching the sunrise over the landscape. The lodge has a fully stocked bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Guests can enjoy activities inside Kidepo Valley National Park, such as game drives at any time of the day to look for cheetahs, lions, and other animals.
