3-Day Kidepo Flying Safari – Fast Luxury Wildlife Trip in Uganda

3-Day Kidepo Flying Safari

Kidepo Valley National Park is the most remote national park in Uganda. It is located in the far northeast, close to the borders with South Sudan and Kenya.

This 3-day flying safari is the fastest and easiest way to visit the park. Flying saves time and helps you avoid the long road trip from Kampala.

Kidepo is the only park in Uganda where you can see both ostriches and cheetahs. The park is drier than most other parks in the country and offers good wildlife viewing.

Animals you may see include lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and antelopes.

This safari is a good choice for travelers who want to visit this remote wildlife area in just three days. For group safaris, early booking is recommended.

Below is a day-by-day plan. The safari uses mid-range and luxury lodges, as there are no good budget lodges in Kidepo.

Flights to Kidepo are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flight leaves Entebbe or Kajjansi at 11:00 am and arrives in Kidepo at 2:00 pm.

The return flight leaves Kidepo at 3:00 pm and reaches Kampala at 4:30 pm.
